Spring 1977 Hanae Mori Fan & Flower Print Blue Yukata Cotton Dress Message from the famous Russian Collection This is a high endThis gorgeous dress by Hanae Mori is a personal favorite and I was happy to be able to document it to her 1977 collection. I love that it is made from a printed yukata cotton, a fabric traditionally used for more casual summer kimonos. The reference photo shows other, similar dresses from that same collection. You see most of her work done on silks and this fabric choice brings a deeper dimension to the print. It allowed her to make the white parts of
